When it was time to decide the theme and design for little Christian’s Baby Welcome, we decided to go with a rustic look. Christian’s mother, Suzy, really wanted to incorporate greenery for this event, so we enlisted Martha from Martha and Co. to create a woodsy cake table adorned with greenery and soft white flowers to bring this vision to life.

The guest tables were draped with grey runners topped with candles and arrangements of white flowers and greenery on wooden stands to complement the cake table. The cake table was a perfect centerpiece to the event, and guests especially loved to use it as a backdrop for their photographs. Along with the beautiful three piece naked cakes, the table had more white florals, candles, wooden accents and plants all around to stick with the day’s rustic theme.

In lieu of favors, guests received thank you cards and donations made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital on behalf of the sweet baby boy. The thank you cards were tucked in ivory napkins with green leaves on top to finish the rustic look.

Everything turned out absolutely adorable, especially considering the fact that we only had ten days to plan everything out. Here’s to many more events for our little Christian!
